  The grand opening was pretty chaotic and I didn't stay very long.
  I want back a couple of weeks later and was much more impressed.
  There is an elevator hidden in the Southeast corner of the building.
  Also there are openings for pedestrian traffic on both floors to enter and exit into the large Mall.
  There is a lot of merchandise but it is attractively and well displayed because of the layout and the fact that they don't have a thousand shopping carts cluttering everything up.
  There is a fair amount of sports equipment but it seems that the major emphasis is on apparel.
  They tell me that this is a very small store compared to their other Houston stores particularly the flagship in Baybrook Mall.
  The good news is that you can order online many items in their system and pick up at this location.
  There was no shortage of store personnel and they were attentive and helpful, unlike most places where their primary activity seems to be maintaining and stocking merchandise.
  All in all, it's pretty much an upscale experience compared to the normal "box stores".
  It's a little different but it really does grow on you after a few visits.
  
  Houston is a very competitive market for sporting goods stores, so it will be interesting to see how this concept works out.
